East Rock

On a rare lazy Sunday morning, I decided to take a short drive up East Rock on the northern part of New Haven.
Mill River that flows along the foot of the hill has one of the favorite walking trails of the residents in the East Rock neighborhood.
The summit of East Rock overlooks the city, and it was a pity the road leading to the peak was closed over the winter weekends. Going as far up as I could, a couple of kids were having loads of fun sledging down the hill.
